    Show me a treatment that doesn't give you side effects, holds on to the hair you have and pit you above baseline in 6 months. You cant. Just because it wont turn a NW7 to a Nw1 in the safety study, doesn't mean its a failure.

    The news from Histogen is not just good news, it's great news.
    which part? The numbers? Not so awesome if you know math.

    Assuming you had left 20% of original density. Add 40% to that:

    20% * 1.40% == 28%

    The pictures are pathetic. Highlight me where you see the improvements because I must be blind and I see none.

    how so? If it can grow 30% of hair it can regrow (30*1000)% of hair, no? It can either turn George Costanza into Mick Jagger or not. There is no in between. This is not that kind of treatment.

    no it won't - they were talking about BRAND NEW FOLLICLES. Immunizing existing follicles is a dream and virtually impossible. It's not even a problem since hair loss can be halted nowadays

    problem with replicel is they havent had an update in a while and dont plan on updating for a while.

    I can see histogen being out in 2015-2016 in some places, replicel seems farther away.

    This, if Replicel can truly "immunize". Thats one of the two goals, but it hasn't been proven yet. It will take years for that honestly.

    The safety and efficacy of RU has not been adequately and appropriately established. There is no such thing as a medication that does not have side effects. Those who claim it has no side effects are being highly unethical. Those who are jumping on the RU bandwagon are being very foolish. Those who are not jumping on this RU bandwagon are being very smart.

    Just my opinion dudes, but I think if you are just looking to maintain then experimenting with a low dosage of fin and some RU especially for the hairline and temple region (as it blocks T and DHT, keep in mind lowerin DHT systematically will increase T which is why some peoples hairline gets worse on fin (hairline is more susceptible to effects of T)).

    It sucks though some people are just androgen sensitive and fin wont work for them, hopefully RU will, but still you can get sides at high doses, but it is unlikely. If this is the case, and you are very serious about your hairloss, may want to look into something like minoxidle sulhpate, copper peptides, PSI possibly, OC, CB if it gets a good vehical soon there should be no sides.

    You gotta decide for yourself how serious you want to take your hairloss, you may need to venture out and find alternative solutions asides from the big 3.

    Yeah I chose not to go for Fin as well, but would be keen for Histogen if it works out. I do like hair but basically just not willing to get on pills for a vanity concern. A localized solution seems more appropriate which is why histogen is exciting.

    So what's the deal with histogen then?

    Are the results for the finished product likely to be any better than the pictures shown, since there will be more injections?
