I want to look my age again. I want to be able to go outdoors without a hat and not have to panic at the hint of a breeze or worry about getting a weird scalp sunburn. I've had my scalp burn a few times when over exposed to the sun. NOT FUN. First time I went to Cuba I applied sunscreen but at the time I didnt know I was balding, only my temples went to shit, and while my face didn't burn, I got two bad burns up top around my hairline.
I hope there's special place in Hell for all the perpetrators of hair loss scams.
If Dr. Nigam is fvcking around with Tom, Boldy and others he is going to find himself in hell a lot sooner than he thinks.

The thing is that it doesn't really matter that Biologix is an almost bankrupt company. If the inventor really has a product that works he will have no problem finding financing. I am actually skeptic about the formula. Because whoever markets a successful treatment for baldness will make Viagra profits look like pocket change. Sounds too good to be true that this guy in Colombia already has the product, which is almost a cure for baldness and has no side effects. Maybe somebody who speaks Spanish can try to contact Dr. Duran directly and get more info from him instead of Biologix website.
Agreed. If the product really works the company would have no problem attracting investors.

An article just appeared on their website indicating they are deregistering... Not sure what to make of this. I've said this before, but this whole thing is just so bizarre.

All that said, I would travel to Colombia in a heartbeat if I saw convincing evidence that this stuff worked even as just a stop loss or fin/minox without side effects kind of treatment. My hair (or rather what's left of it) is looking bad Everything about this is so bizarre. Bauman and Ziering seem to believe in it. Have they ever discussed this publicly? Has Spencer ever discussed this company? I think it would be great if an unaffiliated dermatologist or hair loss expert could comment on the company's claims and mechanism of action.

This is unfortunate.

Wow. Their cash flow situation looks absolutely dire! Their current assets have fallen by about 66% from y/e 2011 to 2012 and their current liabilities have gone from $1.4 million to nearly $15 million in the same period. I'm not sure how they expect to fund their operations until their product comes to market.

Yet when I read their website they claim to already have ready a number of licensed clinicians who will streamline the product. As well as a number of board committees whose job it should be to monitor aspects such as cash flow. It doesn't matter how profitable or successful they might become, if they cannot meet their current and long term liabilities they are screwed.

Also 2021 for market release, that's ages away. Was hoping for a release sooner than that. If it proves successful I will go abroad for treatment.

The list of clinician testimonials on the Biologix website features Alan Bauman, who was one of the first people I learned about when I first started looking to solutions for hair loss a few years ago. Perhaps he's another opportunistic, business-minded hair transplant surgeon, eager to be associated with a much-hyped hair restoration company even before its claims have been scientifically proven, but I've seen veteran members of other hair loss forums affirm his integrity. For the veteran members of this forum, does his endorsement lend Biologix any credibility?

Also, I've read some critical comments about Biologix being helpful only to "thinners," not those who are "slick bald" -- the idea being that a proper cure would be the ability to grow hair on formerly completely hairless parts of the scalp, and that anything less isn't quite the cure everyone's been waiting for. However, for those of us who suffer from thinning hair, wouldn't a treatment that effectively reversed thinning be a de facto cure?
