If you thought about it I'd we could find a way to expose all scams as soon as they were introduced, that snake oil industry would be dead

Its the desperation, people will pay anything, go to any means to treat their hair loss, God knows why a better treatment is taking so long, theres a market for everything out there - even pet psychology - but they cant provide a solid treatment for hair loss?

I wonder if any of the people who ordered on this thread have experienced anything positive, I doubt it, otherwise we would have heard something by now.

How do you like the spectral DNC stuff ? I know its main ingredient is Minox. Would you say it's better than plain minox ?

i like that it dries fast and is really fast and easy to apply.so imo i like it better because it's in a lotion form.when i use liquid minox my hair looks worse.

Thanks for getting back to us... I was about to message you today and ask how you're getting on lol.

I think they say 6 - 8 weeks for the full effect, fingers crossed!

Thanks for the reply. I think I'm gonna give Rogaine foam a try for now. I heard it dries fast too. It's probably less messy than a lotion too.

So this may turn out not be a scam, finally.

                      it gets curiouser and curiouser

They now have a link to a testimonial on youtube. Also, the cost of the treatment is now listed as $300. The testimonial is given by the woman pictured on the website, but there is no close up video of the back of her head where the bald spot was. If they're legit, I don't understand why they didn't show video footage of the back of the head since this could demonstrate that the supposed effects were not just a result of photo manipulation. As it is, there is really no new information, all we have to go on is the single before and after picture on the website, and we all know that before and after photos can be easily manipulated by differences in angle, lighting, hair styling, use of the flash, etc.

Johnnyboots, kudos to you for trialing this one. I'm not optimistic, but please keep us posted.

We will have to wait 5 weeks for johnnyboots. Price is now 300$ for women treatment, men could be up to 500$ which doesn't bother if it works and you use it every 3 months.

Because people are actually buying it - the fact they've raised it to the SAME price as CyGenX completely puts me off this product, theres no difference between CyGenX and HstemC. Even the pictures of the boxes they posted - the design - looked exactly the same.

                            Once again, for the newcomers:

I just did an “IronMan-Quick-Research” (IMQR) and now I have a simple QUESTION:
                            --------------------------------------
                            Author: CyGenX Inc.

Hair growth is maintained through a cyclic process that includes a periodic stem-cell-dependent regeneration of hair follicles. The hair cycle consists of three defined stages: growth (anagen), followed by regression (catagen) and rest (telogen). Growth of a new hair requires reentry into anagen, a process involving activation of multipotent epithelial stem cells residing in a specialized part of the follicle outer root sheath (ORS) known as the bulge. Activating signals emanate from adjacent mesenchymal cells (dermal papilla), directing epithelial stem cells to migrate and differentiate to regenerate the hair bulb, the structure from which a new hair will emerge. Multiple signaling pathways, including Wnts, Sonic hedgehog (Shh), and TGF-beta family members have been shown to promote anagen initiation.

                            Author: Beaudoin GM (et al)

Hair is maintained through a cyclic process that includes periodic regeneration of hair follicles in a stem-cell-dependent manner. The hair cycle consists of three defined stages: growth (anagen), followed by regression (catagen) and rest (telogen) (Fig. 1A) (1). Growth of a new hair requires reentry into anagen, a process involving activation of multipotent epithelial stem cells residing in a specialized part of the follicle outer root sheath (ORS) known as the bulge (Fig. 1B) (2–4). Activating signals emanate from adjacent mesenchymal cells (dermal papilla), directing epithelial stem cells to migrate and differentiate to regenerate the hair bulb (Fig. 1B), the structure from which a new hair will emerge (2–5). Multiple signaling pathways, including Wnts, Sonic hedgehog (Shh), and TGF-β family members have been shown to promote anagen initiation, yet the exact mechanism by which hair follicles regenerate is not clear (5–7).

Q : Where is the DIFFERENCE between the 3 excerpts/abstracts above
Also, I have only seen advocates raving about this product in press releases and online articles anyone could create....

                            e.g: http://www.ygoy.com/index.php/stem-c...80%93-read-on/

They state "clinical trial".... what clinical trial? I have searched and searched but there has been NO clinical trial on this product whatsoever.

....seriously, where are the articles that outline the clinical trial all these press releases are blabbering on about?

                            Where are they Greg?

                              Fingers Crossed

45 yr old woman: purchased TRX2 back in March 2011. Didn't notice any improvement in the first couple of months so I decided to add something else to my regimen. Purchased the Hair Stemulating Complex from BioR. Arrived June 13th and have been using it since. Ran out of the treatment around July 4th weekend because my hair loss is diffuse and I used it all over. Contacted BioR and they sent me a free months supply if I consented to providing them with pictures and updates. New complex arrived last Wed and I'm continuing with the treatment and will update about the Womens Complex good or bad. I did not post to be insulted or belittled. Just want to share my experience because we are all anxious to find a treatment that will hold us over until Hair Multiplication is available. I sent Cheryl at BioR an email this morning inquiring about the price increase. Will not be able to continue with the treatment at that price.

Its not the consumers we insult or belittle (well not always, some consumers are so stupid they deserve it) - its the companies that lie through their back teeth about ridiculous statements such as topicals that can formulate NEW HAIR FOLLICLES... seriously... if this topical can form new follicles then why arnt GSK and big pharma even batting an eyelid? LOL -

This should have EXPLODED over every newspaper headline across the globe - companies would be scrambling to realign their product/marketing efforts - it would be utter chaos - instead we have a couple of threads on a few forums and some lady with dodgy patently altered pictures.

I might contact BRS and ask if they can formulate a Heart Stemulating Complex for when my ticker starts to wear thin in 40 years time
