Lol at the people mad at the prospect the cure will be after their youth. You never know science, the cure might be tomorrow? Tell that to people who've spent their entire lives paralyzed,crippled, with aids, dying of cancer...

The cure is nowhere near the discovery. And when it does, the clinical trials, funding, multiple phases, commercialization, possible lawsuits/patent conflicts/delays...

25 years is my extremely optimistic outlook. It is not a random figure but a timeline I truly believe in. And you know what? I can gladly wait that long.

Maybe histogen replicel will prove me wrong. But you guys are idiots for even the slightest inkling I wouldn't be. It is YOUR posts saying the cure will come any minute THAT POLLUTES AND IS TOXIC to the YOUNG who are receding who decide not to fin.

There is a board here for sharing your story or experience, isn't there? It's hard enough to keep up with cutting edge treatments. Threads that don't talk about cutting edge treatments don't help.

In next 5-10-15 years there will be no cure mates. We gotta maintain what we have already. Hopefully smo /6bio will do something until scientists decide put more effort into research..

I think you're exaggerating a bit here. I mean, look at the results Histogen has shown, and the promises they've been making, not just about efficacy but about release dates. I don't think someone having the slightest inkling based on that makes them an idiot. That justifies a slight inkling in my book.

Assuming they're not liars, it's the the best prospect I can ever remember seeing. It's possible that for some reason they're just telling massive lies and putting fake hair on heads for photographs, but I'm not aware of any reason to distrust them (aside from the name Ziering being associated with it).

Hope should be kept in check as always, and people definitely should know to go for fin or dut as their default treatment... but I don't know how what Histogen have shown recently can just be disregarded. If they actually can achieve those results already then expecting it to take decades to get it ready for public sale seems so needlessly pessimistic.

I'm a diffuser was balding in middle school grew everything back with fin. Except the temples I spent 16 grand on. Hope needs to be in check but I hate seeing questions on other subs with the false hope of low NW asking if the cure/histogen will come out before their hairloss gets worse... and seeing theur counterparts, the high NW releasing logs of finally doing fin.

You're wrong. I think there's a good chance that topical JAK inhibitors combined with antiandrogens and PGD2 inhibitors is the cure. Simply put, the latter halts the disease process and the former turns the follicles back on. Unlike in AA where you are on them for life, I think in AGA you can stop the JAK inhibitor once it grows back and maintain with AAs and PGD2 inhibition.

I think its a bit silly to say anything can or will do anything like turning follicles back on until its actually happening in real world results proving it does. Its like guessing what a 5000 piece puzzle is when you have 10 pieces put together. MPB is just a big guessing game still.
No one knows if MPB can be reversed or to what degree because nothing as of now is doing it in people yet. Might be tomorrow or could be 20 years who knows. Maybe your right and JAK inhibitors regrow tons of hair anything is possible, but right now keeping hair is priority 1 because as of today regrowing isnt really possible.

Allthegoo...blah blah blah sounds like another idiot ignoring the proof. If you believe him / her / it over the Histogen photos posted that show cosmetic improvement than more fool you.

The best thing you can do here is ignore people that speculate in any direction.

Keep your eyes peeled for facts.
