I'm trying to understand your reasoning here. So on the one hand you have a shot at making billions of dollars. Yet on the other hand you dont want to put up decent proof and shave your hair to convince people here.

Let's say you think yourself there's 33% chance this works. Simple maths teaches us that 33% of 3 billion dollars is still 1 billion dollar. So that's then what your company should be worth in your opinion. Yet you don't care about shaving your hair to make a very good case to prove it.

Not trying to disrespect you, just trying to understand your reasoning. Cause I know that anybody with such chances of making so much money would probably shave ANY body part and post pictures here So, just trying to understand you why you don't want to shave with so much money lying within reach.

Short but probably not buzz. Trust me, with pictures and HD video, it will be pretty clear. If it isn't visible enough without buzzing, we have a product that works maybe as well as Rogaine. Good luck to us trying to compete with a FDA approved product with hundreds of millions of marketing dollars behind us. If it works as well as we hope, haircut won't mean anything.

That said, there are several of us starting the trial. A couple older guys with very visible balding/receded hairline, diffuse thinning, and myself and a friend of ours who is like 22 or 23 with diffuse thinning. So we will have some variety and some good progress shots and video, pull tests, etc.

It'll be clear that we have a winner, or that we don't.
Hi Devon, many thanks for the news and for the document made by Dr. Hsu.

Ps: You don't have to answer to Arashi. He is a giant troll. If you answer him he will continue with allegations and defamation. He doesn't deserve to see the result. He doesn't deserve Follicept if it works.

He says the results will be quite evident if it works. I personally don't think a buzzcut is necessary - Devon isn't the only one trialing the gel. The other subjects, especially ones with bald spots, would be pretty easy to see the difference in, I'd imagine. This is all assuming it works, of course. At any rate, we'll know within the next few weeks.

can someone please shed light on Dr. Hsu new powerpoint? I don't understand science that well...

Also, very important question: Is this designed to be a maintenance treatment primarily? I am more than happy with that. but it seems like it will be primarily for maintenance like FIN and Rogaine

            Will this affect my beard?

I like my beard, I don't want that reversed!

Of course you don't. You're a 6 year long forum lurker (your own words), just with a 2015 account. Since you've been on this forum for so long (6 years you've been lurking here you said, so that's quite some experience you got there) you already know that we don't need much proof. A forum test, that's totally unnecessary, a waste of time. Shaved hair, who cares about that, we dont need that. Just tell us when we can buy it !

I certainly can't, still learning myself! Haha. Basically he thinks pulse of IGF-1 will reactivate receptors and make follicles re-enter anagen phase.

                Designed as maintenance, yes.

You're convinced it won't work. So why should I shave my head? If it works, it will work very well, and it will be evident without a shaved head. That's the logic. Then, we progress into clinical trials with trichoscan and sophisticated quantification methods. You are linking to independent events and skipping the dependent step in the middle.

No reason it should affect the beard. I have one too, so we will know soon enough!

Well that's Devon's plan. He even said he wants to start selling it on Indiegogo before the trial results are in. And he wanted to raise the price. So at least he must think people are going to buy it without decent proof.

no dude no one ever said that. he said EXPLICITLY: He will only sell on Indiegogo if they have legitimate and verifiable proof of EFFICACY AND SAFETY. Not selling on Indiegogo until we see some legit pics/vids, he even said so bro, try to keep an open mind. This aint Nigam or other wackos, not a fair comparison. When did any of those other quacks provide that detailed of science?? Nigam etc sound like a bunch of elementary school students compared to HSU, you ain't making a fair comparison and you know it

Hey Arishi, what you're accusing Follicept of is exactly what Merck did with Propecia and it's exactly what Upjohn did with Roagine. Neither of those companies did TBT forum tests or buzz cutting of their subjects. So are Propecia and Rogaine frauds? LOL! You are trying to make it sound as if what you are asking is so perfectly and any industry standard but of course it is neither. People don't want to get buzz cuts. I understand that shorter hair will make it easier to tell if there is regrowth. I get your point but you can't make people get buzz cuts if they don't want to, and it really is unreasonable to demand forum trials. Go tell Jahoda that he has to do a forum test and see what he does. The expression you'll see on his face will be bewilderment as he will be wondering if you are an escaped loonie.

                                Actually, he did: https://www.baldtruthtalk.com/showth...l=1#post205061

So on basis of some photo's of his unshaven head and some others we can't verify, he wants to sell it. And then he raised the price.
