Minoxidil takes 6+ months for results. They're trying to sell Follicept as a way to improve growth immediately. In the long run (6 months and 1 year) I would like for them to compare Follicept to Minoxidil. I agree, showing efficacy after stopping the treatment is senseless.
follicept - what's this?

Why would they show "efficacy" after stopping the treatment? And "results" after only 26 days. Rogaine does not work on that time scale. And where is the proper control group? Without that, it's impossible to say anything about these "results". These photos are so amateurish, unscientific and ridiculous it's almost not worth commenting on.
Prediction: the clinical trials the supposedly are going to run - you'll never see proper results from them. That carrot will be dangled before you forever and never delivered. We'll start to see new posters show up here who are in the trials and can't really talk too much about details, but, they'll swear they see a slow down in shedding and possibly, (but not for sure!) see some regrowth.Comment

You guys are kiddimg me. I would wear it every night and sleep like a new born baby if it gives me hair. And every balding guy i know would di the same. People are using experimental drugs, fin and all the bullshit risking their health but wearing a night cap is a nogo. Funny people.Comment

I cannot control my impatience but I really wish it is not a vain hope.
Devon said it is enough to feasible and I believe him.

Re: hello, Devon.
Nothing really to report, I'll update the end of next week when I have more news. Taking a bit longer to get started based on a few factors, but we're still moving forward! Hopefully we'll know more in a few days!Comment

For some reason, I have faith on this product improving as they get deeper into the clinical trials. They seem like they might be on to something.. Like a hunch. And call me superstitious, but I would like to hold on to any hope that comes by, backed with such forthcoming reps to explain everything along the way.Comment

The website now goes By the domain http://*****************/
They did promise to keep us updated with a time line at the end of the month. They have not Reneged on that promise just yet. It's like some people here would be more happy if these guys failed than succeeded in bringing a decent product to market.
They did also say in advance that if they went quiet on us that it's because they expected to get real busy trying to get this operation off the ground. And prometheons website still says follicept will be the flagship venture that funds there subsequent ventures.
My concern now is that the delays are being caused by an oversight with the FDA classification, ie maybe it will be classified as a med after all. Complete speculation though.Comment

I'm in contact with follicept, they are simply working to trial this thing and it will take time. I think they are onto something potentially really good, but nobody including follicept really knows until it has been tested. Just have to wait. It takes time to get materials and setup everything. Has nothing to do with the FDA.Comment

Lol pro marketing technique from Follicept, see the next quote from their website:
Also, since our formulation is designed to get large molecules across, it may be necessary to discontinue minoxidil, which can have dangerous side effects if too much gets into circulation.
I'm sure they have the science to back this up, it's probably true. But still, pretty funny that they're saying it's either this or minox, you can't use them both at the same time.
This alone brings quite some questions for me personally: quitting minox and jumping on this stuff, how is that going to work out? Also, would I still be able to use my RU beforehand? I think, as comparison, we can look at dermarolling: has anyone on here ever tried dermarolling + RU?
The above is all speculation ofc, it's too soon to say anything with confidence.Comment

Yes. Go to their site (http://*****************/), go to "Invest" and click on the button "Email Us". I'm not sure if that email adres is for business only (could very well be so) but at least it's a way to contact them.
However, if you have any questions about the product itself I highly encourage you to just ask it in this thread because a) follicept has shown to be eager to help us out with questions and b) it could be beneficial for us tooComment

I don't think it's a marketing gimmick.
If their vehicle really does get large molecules (like igf-1) through the skin, it would theoretically get minox through more efficiently, which could very well cause heart problems, etc.Comment
