Besides being something that warren from something about mary would say, they probably aren't selling stock. At this early of a stage, it's more likely convertible debt.

And the people at Follicept are not putting out much effort when it comes to this treatment either. If this treatment actually works nobody will have worked hard to get 'er done. Follicept is simply taking a vehicle they already have and putting IGF-1 into the vehicle. And the IGF-1 is made by someone else so Follicept isn't even making the active ingredient. This is a low effort venture for everyone involved. But that doesn't changed the fact that they asked for our help and they themselves say they are benefiting from our help and our support. They thanks us a lot and tell us they are grateful for our support and efforts. The point is that we are here supporting them and trying to help them in the early get-go, they are not going to have to work very hard to get this treament to market (if it works), and the profits will be large enough that selling us some stock at a good price would not do them any real harm. If this treatment works and they make it big we were there for them when they needed help and support.

People have put hours into this project, not minutes. Many of us are trying to give Follicept advice, assistance, and support. Some posters are attacking Follicept so others are having to circle the wagons around Follicept in a show of support. Follicept is getting a lot of support from some of us and Follicept themselves tell us that those of us who are supporting them are making a big difference. I think Follicept was undecided about whether or not to move forward with this project and it was the support from many of us here that made Follicept decide to keep moving forward with the project. In other words, without us the project might have actually shut down. We have put hours into searchers and hours into supporting Follicept, and these efforts are possibly part of why Follicept did not abandon the project in the beginning. And of course if they had abandoned the project then there would have been no profit for Follicept from this project.

Can I point out again that Devon himself has said that they were not sure that they were going to proceed with this project until they felt our support, saw our enthusiasm. That means that we are a factor in this project moving forward at all. And we have been giving them advice and trying to help them in finding chemicals as well. But especially the enthusiasm and support we brought to the situation is a significant factor in this progress not being abandoned, in which case Follicept would not make any money from the project (if the treatment does work). I guess you're cool with making perhaps hundreds of millions of dollars for other people and getting no money for yourself, but if I am part of making someone else hundreds of millions of dollars I do not think it's unreasonable for me to explore the possibility that I could get some money from the project also.

If you read the thread you know i'm maybe the one who searched the most, potential supplier, pharmacy, reading and trying to help was my first and last activity of the day in this weeks, well I don't want any appreciation or recognition or discounted stocks (wtf how can you really ask that), i just want Devon do his best, do a fast trial now, good macro pics to see any vellus activity and if it works to looking for a pharmacy or a lab in europe ( and i will try to help again) so we don't have our product for months at customs, this what I want, this the best recognition for the help, maybe if everything works fine he can give us some sort of coupon with a 10-15% discount in the future, but this is the last thing, who cares really, we need to focus on the trial and hope it works

But I do actually have a point. You are working for free. And you are actually being asked to work for free. I should have to lie about that. You shouldn't even ask me to lie about it. Why should I be grateful Follicept is trying to bring the treatment to market? They aren't doing it for us you fool. They're doing it to make money. If they were just going to break even they would not bring the treatment to market simply because we want it (if it works).
