Well that blows. I for one an not gonna be wearing a nightcap to bed. That's more embarrassing and unsexy than having a bald head for sure.

It's a gel. That's just one idea to keep it off your pillow, face, etc. General idea is 6-8 hours of use, MWF. I personally will probably use in the evenings, 5pm-midnight or something. Depends on your lifestyle and preferences.

...yeah because I'm sure there are sooo many hot chicks checking you out when you're going to sleep. That's a deal-breaker right there. Lol.

        Don't be silly.

This is great news and I'm really looking forward to seeing how this treatment pans out when the trial results are in.

Can't believe how this guy came to the forum to share the news and interact with us hairloss sufferers only to be met with absolute morons threatening to break his nose etc. Shows how messed up some people around here are.

Thankfully most of us are respectful and eager to hear more about this exciting development.

Thanks for taking the time to keep us up to date, Follicept...and good luck!

If follicept works and gives you hairs, i don't care about my girlfriend's thought. Otherwise, you stay bald, dude.

Whatever if it works, then it works. Just put it on before you actually go to sleep. I have a gf too and if wearing a cap to sleep 3 nights a week is something that can give me peace of mind over my hair and make me a happier person then she will be thrilled to have me do so

That's ok. Rather have self respect than hair. Would also be sadder to lose gf than lose hair

Each to their own I guess! But, I am pretty sure that most wont find wearing a nightcap as being embarrassing or a no-no in order to grow their hair back.....

As this thread is pretty long, can you guys tell me if this is actually legit or not? I've basically regarded it as a scam ever since I knew it was a 'cosmetic' but this has gotten quite a lot of attention...

I think it will be helpful. Was much more excited when I thought it was a no hassle treatment though. The science is intriguing and the guys behind it are very legit although new to hairloss science. I doubt it's a cure for those with extensive loss, and for those wanting to maintain til cell treatments arrive, there may be easier options. Just have to wait and see. For now I think getting out hands on pgd2 blockers might be the best. And I think you overestimate what most people are willing to do for hair. Only like 1% of balding guys use anything at all. Wearing a cap with a head full of gel three nights a week is not gonna really fly on the mainstream market. Even rogaine foam is a pain in the ass, can't use it on my scalp without getting hair all gross.

Otherwise, you can put the gel in the morning with your head cap, going to work with it. You can lose your job but keep your girlfriend lol

Losing your job is a good way to lose your gf too haha.

Any gf worth having wouldn't mind her man doing that if it helps his confidence & gives him peace of mind, I guess.

From what we've heard it's not something you need to do every night.

I'm looking forward to seeing how this goes, seems very promising. Fingers crossed these fellas are on to something here.
