I also like the idea of taking a pill of Seti better.

Since we don't know the effective dose, whatever your wallet will allow. Safety looks excellent on doses of 1000mg daily. Most people are using 100mg-200mg oral daily from what I've seen.

Well, yep. It is a shortcut. But if Im not mistaken, they took it orally in the trials?

Yes, 1000nm daily. I think oraly is more effective.

It's unlikely that oral would be more effective considering around 53% gets excreted (wasted) when taken orally. I imagine Kythera are producing it as an oral because it's proven safe and for marketing purposes; everyone would rather pop a pill than pour a topical on their head.

That top link was published today. I think this means they'll be moving to Phase II trials for efficacy in men with AGA. The safety profile is already well established.

Let's hope that they can move to phase 2 straight away. Thats good news though and it's actually confirmed!

Yeah phase 2. It has a very good safety profile AFAIK. However what I was wondering is how long the trial is going to take? I mean it's supposed to be a preventative treatment not a regrowth treatment as per the hypothesis of Kythera et al hypothesizing that PGD2 functions upstream after AR activation.

Does anyone know how long the trial is going to be?
