If a kick starter was made i feel it would need to give the people donating more then just the name of the vehicle compound.

For example if you donate 100 dollars and we get 500 people to do so you should also get something like a 100 dollar discount on a batch of cb0301 (this can be arranged through a massive group buy through kane in which he gives a 100 dollar discount per person).

That way people are more inclined to put their money forward

It seems like Adam K from this thread: https://www.baldtruthtalk.com/showthread.php?t=13658
could help us out. Anyone in direct contact with him? PhD in chemistry, he could maybe refer us to some contacts.

And yes for the Kickstarter we'd have to incentivize them with discounts, but I'm sure a CB supplier would definitely do that if he was getting MASSIVE amounts of business.

First let's formulate a plan of EXACTLY what we should be testing. As I mentioned earlier I really appreciate you guys who know a lot about science helping us all out - we're all dependent on you. I know nothing about science, so my role here and purpose of this thread was just to get the ball rolling and chatter going.

Maybe we can recruit people off linkedin with strong chemistry backrounds to research a vehicle lol

I think this thread is a very very awesome initiative!
It is simply great to steer the things nobody does for us into the right direction and to do the things we can do ourselves by ourselves.

Before blindly taking action, some aspects should be considered, e.g:

1.) How much could a better, non-systemic delivery of existing topicals improve our situation?
E.g. a combination of Finasterid and Dutasteride would inhibit all three isoforms of 5-alpha reductase, but people are afraid of the systemic side-effects.
I also remember that one of the companies (Histogen?) improved the penetration of their product by factor 7 by using a different vehicle.
See threads "Will Delivery Of Current Topicals Solve Hairloss?" and "low systemic absorption technology"
2.) Is CB that much more efficient than RU (if delivered in the best way)?
3.) Does CB really have no side effects? (E.g. someone posted in the German forum that the people he knows using CB more often have chest/heart problems than RU users)
4.) If the required amount of money from crowd funding is not achieved, people should get their money back

There are multiple options that could be a next step. Some are:
              - Evaluation if CB is really better than current topicals (if delivered in a perfect way)
              - Finding chemically experienced people in the forum or commission a lab
              - Finding a good vehicle / delivery method for CB
              - Finding a better vehicle / delivery method for the other existing drugs like Fin, Du, Ru, Spiro, etc.

Care to share what vehicle you're using strife? How long have you been using it? Have you had any decents results with it? Any side effects?

Why would you keep us in the dark?!?!? Do tell.

Is there any chance Cosmo will release the vehicle they are using for their Phase 2 alopecia trial? Apparently the vehicle for the acne version is listed in their patent from several years ago. Did they release it as part of some press release/report from the trial too? Maybe if we're lucky, when the Phase 2 alopecia trial is over they will release the vehicle, or perhaps even before then. That would be the beginning of 2015.

I doubt cosmo will release the vehicle just seems unlikely. The thing is when you ask is CB more effective than RU when delivered properly is thats a question Cosmo is figuring out and proving in the trials. You will never be able to objectively figure that out yourself how do you know the chemical you buy is pure and potency matching theirs?
I understand the urgency and what your trying to do so I dont blame you guys there, but some of the questions you just have to wait for a large company to figure it out. It takes the time/money partly because its not easy to do

I will contact Kane to see if he can give us any information about iontophoresis for CB, Fin, Dut, Ru, etc.

If anyone has any other contacts that are likely to respond, please write them here. I have also contacted a professor from USC who is working on ionic liquids as topical delivery, but no also no response.

I have found a lot of online articles regarding iontophoresis for topical delivery, but there were so many of them that I was overwhelmed. Once I post them, hopefully some people can take the time to read and decipher them here. It seems to be a heavily researched topic.

Also, Desmond if you're the please respond and dump any info about these issues that you can. That would be greatly appreciated, so that it can be a transfer of knowledge.

Hey guys, I've got more info about iontophoresis devices, and we are a step closer to having an affordable solution to the CB vehicle problem. I'm pretty busy right now and it will take some time to explain but I'll try to post in a few hours once I get off work.

Alright gentlemen, I've talked to a few more people, looked at more articles, and have tried to connect the dots on how we can do this. First off, for someone who has enough money to where $10,000 is pocket change then I would go with the Hydrofor machine made by Swiss4Med and buy the hydrogel which is used to mix active substances with. I believe that is what Cosmo did and I'm sure it would work. If someone does purchase one of their products, be careful, because it can penetrate internal organs on its highest setting and I'm not sure what effect that would have on your head. Now, for those of us who don't have $10,000 laying around, I believe that a galvanic device would work. Galvanic devices will not work with oil based products, they have to be water based gels and have to be used with the positive setting or the positive diode (depends on the machine). I was also wrong about the type of gels, we DO NOT need to use galvanic gels, those are used for imaging and ultrasound technology. They will not pass active substances to the dermis. Ionic, water based gels on the positive setting of a galvanic device is how I BELIEVE we can make this work. I can post some sources if y'all want me to, but I would also recommend to anyone doing their own research instead of relying on an anonymous forum member (me) to tell you how something should be done. The dosage is still an issue, does anyone know if the Cosmo study said anything about dosage?

If we knew the exact steps to do this safely and exactly how cosmo did it I'd drop 10k on one of those machines right now and report lol
