And yes for the Kickstarter we'd have to incentivize them with discounts, but I'm sure a CB supplier would definitely do that if he was getting MASSIVE amounts of business.

First let's formulate a plan of EXACTLY what we should be testing. As I mentioned earlier I really appreciate you guys who know a lot about science helping us all out - we're all dependent on you. I know nothing about science, so my role here and purpose of this thread was just to get the ball rolling and chatter going.

If a kick starter was made i feel it would need to give the people donating more then just the name of the vehicle compound.

For example if you donate 100 dollars and we get 500 people to do so you should also get something like a 100 dollar discount on a batch of cb0301 (this can be arranged through a massive group buy through kane in which he gives a 100 dollar discount per person).

That way people are more inclined to put their money forward

I'm new the forum but I have been a lurker for a while.
Will CB-03-01 be really as effective as they said in the study if it ever gets released. They used a rather specialised delivery method and got great results. But in reality can normal people be expected to use a dedicated ionophoresis machine at home to apply this stuff?
I'm trying to plan a HT and hopefully this will get released within 3 years. If it does work as stated in the POC study then will if negate the need for further transplants? Furthermore, being a weak steroid can we use this long term?

We have to start by making a clear plan. If not no one will donste. We could even make a kickstarter or something. I'm willing to put close to 250. Heck, that's an order of RU from kane.

So what are our pathways and targetss?

1. Use iso device. Where to buy, how much?
2. How to deliver with iso device? What are the roadblocks?
3. As far as I understand, we need a vehicle for iso device as well?
4. For vehicle to be succesful, it has to be adjusted accordingly to CB's polarity?
5. Who and what do we need the get these answers?
6. And who can test and verify the validity of our findings? At the end of the day, we would NEED before and after pics. No one will want to try such a complicated set-up unless they are either really desperate (like us lol) or unless there is a good level of results.

If 500 member donate 100 dollars then that would be enough ... I think the challenge is finding a lab to do it , and one that can assure a successful result .

i wouldn't see this as a big public crowdfunding campain. it's more an intra-forum campain to pay a professional lab for helping us to find a vehicle only. i don't think this would require more than 50.000 bucks. this is nothing for us forum members. if we can reach out to all forums (HLH, ***, HS, etc.) we would have that money very fast, because all of us are waiting for CB as we already know about its potential. no need to start a big and complicated crowdfunding at all. we don't even need a website for that. if CB is able to at least halt further loss, then this is a game changer for all of us. but waiting for cosmos official release is a pain in the a.s.s.

50,000 isn't exactly peanuts. It's a ton of money and the exposure WILL spill over to the general public. It's a big amount for the hair loss community forums to donate; a lot of, if not most people WON'T donate. This isn't me being a debbie downer pessimist, it's just the reality that people are generally useless. Don't get your hopes up.

You also need to look at the numbers. Let's say we needed anyone and everyone to donate just $10.00 US, you'd then need 5,000 people donating funds. That's a BIG audience to target.

The forums have tens of thousands of members altogether;

33,000 on BTT
48,000 on ***
etc.

Of those, how many are active? Of those active, how many will see the news about the initiative? Of those, how many will bother to read about it? Of those that read about it, how many will donate? Of those that will donate, how many will donate a sufficient amount?

I'm not condoning the complacency of the hair loss community, in fact I've called out the community many times before that we really only have ourselves to blame for the lack of treatments, progress, cure and especially the continued acceptance of Finasteride as being a 'good enough' treatment. If more of us took the initiative like Dr. Angela Christiano, we'd have long solved this god damn disease... but that hasn't happened for the past 20 years since Finasteride has been on the market.

I have to disagree with that, Eventhoug a full cure is our holy grail, investor and our community have to be realistic about the stage of current researchs and understand that there would be a lot of benefits in a better treatment with no side effects.
