Sometimes I really ask myself wtf is wrong with some people in this forum. I read somewhere people even considering getting castrated to save their hair. Just sad...
Maybe we're to depressed out of our minds of our hair loss, to care about sh*t we don't even suffer from. Really, HIV, I mean I understand cancer, but HIV? Really? How about know who you are f-cking.

How am I supposed to care about HIV? WTF does that have to do with hair loss? Why should I care about that? I am damn near suicidal about MPB+AA, I am going to care about an HIV cure? Get the f-ck out of here.

Maybe you're depressed because you're a revolting human being? Of course cancer and HIV are more important that MPB, I'd trade in hair for the rest of humanity to be free of those, I hope you would too.

HIV is not just transmitted by sex, it can be passed from mother-child, through reusing needles for medication, blood transfusions. It's a terrible illness.

We're not in competition with other illnesses. The baldness cure is a multi-billion dollar moneymaker, it will come. Because it's an aesthetic issue, it seems simpler, but sometimes these subtle things are the most complex. But being annoyed that cancer and aids are getting cured before MPB is like being annoyed men landed on the moon before we have a cure for the common cold.

Everyones problem is relative. I'm in the same boat that I don't care about cancer, but between that and hair loss, I'd rather go bald. I think life threatening health issues should have priority over others, however the disparity between health issues is disgusting as it is. Breast cancer at one point got 660% more funding than prostate cancer. Women's health is obsessed over while mens health is basically ignored. Regardless of the situation, hair loss is heavily underfunded, overlooked and worst of all, its socially acceptable to mock those with MPB, AA, etc.

I said the cancer part is understandable, I never downpalyed that. It could happen to any one.

I couldn't care less about an HIV cure.

Why? Its just as much of a threat to your life as cancer.

Hellouser, you're a solid poster and you're totally right. That disparate statistic with regards to how much more funding breast cancer gets than prostate cancer is alarming to say the least, but definitely not surprising.

And don't even get me started on how it's socially acceptable to mock baldness, yet completely unacceptable to mock race, ethnicity, gender, etc.! They're both equally reprehensible and that's why I can't stand little sh*ts like Larry David or George Costanza who treat baldness like it is some kind of joke.

I'd rather be bald than society to COMPLETELY shame me. Its bad enough we're treated like shit for being bald, I dont need things to get any worse.

Man I don't think you realise how good these hair systems are, there's people walking around with systems and you don't even know, instead of being depressed there wearing a system that looks real.

                              No.

Doing that is basically calling it quits, giving up on any real solution. I won't stand for that.

I'm taking a class and the instructor has a hair piece I can tell. It's awesome if people can't tell, but if someone does, you'll look ridiculous
