Nigam hasn't proved anything to us definitively (yet).

And we have no idea whether or not Biologix works, either. Lets not get ahead of ourselves.

Agreed. Like all of you, I hope that the Biologix folks are onto something, but I have my doubts. Why haven't we ever heard of Follicle Nutrient Deficiency Syndrome before? Have any independent dermatologists ever acknowledged this condition?

On the Biologix website there is some information about a 100% success rate in halting the progress of alopecia based on subjective assessments--hardly scientific at all, even for preclinical work. Where are the hair counts? Why not use objective measures? Some of the pictures look good, but still nothing that couldn't be accomplished with concealers, photo manipulation, and other camera trickery. The website even mentions something about a partnership with an institute in Beijing and incorporating principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Doesn't exactly give me a lot of confidence.

The thing is that we don't even know if Biologixhair has a product. All we know is that there is a website that claims to have a cure for baldness.

I don't mean to quibble, but looking at their website it seemed that they were treating people with some kind of injectable, which would suggest a product as opposed to something that is merely a procedure.

A well-respected hair loss expert like Ziering is involved and yet the website mentions crap like traditional Chinese medicine. Why have they made no effort to engage the hair loss community? This whole thing is just so bizarre...

Snake oil...just because Ziering is involved does not give it legitimacy. Ziering is just another HT surgeon. If Colin Jahoda or Ken Washenik or George Cotsarelis were involved, I would pay attention.

They need to demonstrate what the science is behind their treatment, and then we can seriously consider them. Selling snake oil to bald men continues to this day.

We have every right to be cautious, skeptic.

But we should also remain open minded in the face of evidence. Not so much that our brains fall out, mind you.

Shouldnt we find evidence first before becoming optimistic? We've seen no independent clinical data on this, but we're still discussing this for 9 pages.

                      I agree with you.

We'll just wait it out until.
