Whats this about Ziering being somehow connected with this? It was mentioned in "Something new" thread.

To be honest I am really suspicious about this. I really am. Sounds too much like snake oil to me. The testimonials are plain suspicious (most of the time they are not). I mean how the hell can we know if any of them are actually true. And those small pictures, some of the hair in the after pics to me looks like it was treated with nanogen or similar products.

Sure a lot of us can argue that the trial results of Aderans, Replicel or Histogen were not 'good enough' but at least they were honest ('well a lot more hoenst').

In the studies that were done in South America in patients with Androgenetic Alopecia and Alopecia Areata, the results appeared promising in the area of hair maintenance. Like all of you, I am a scientist and await hard data. It is presently on my website, because from all of the science that I have read about it, I agree with it in principle.

Basically, it is an injection that contains a vasodilator and an anti-inflammatory agent and several targeted nutrients for the hair follicle. At this point, I am not even sure what the exact formula is. The product is seeking FDA approval in the United States and that application and approval process won't be completed until at least 2016.

As you all know, they have appointed Craig Ziering, DO head of their advisory board and he brings with him a wealth of experience in regenerative hair medicine.

I am committed to successful outcomes in hair transplantation. Any medications that I feel are safe and noteworthy and have scientific merit, I will support. I will keep you updated as I am made aware of the progress with this treatment. As always if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me directly.
If it is safe / well-tolerated, and you agree with it in principal, why not test it out!? Appreciate your willingness to try things like this and PRP in your pratice, for an extended period of time.

Am I understanding correctly that this is going to be available in Canada soon? I'll take a trip up there and try it out if that's the case.

Dr Yates, I second this question. As I understand one of their offices are in Toronto? When could this treatment potentially be available to administer in Canada?

And thank you for your participation on the forums, as well as your clarification on this topic.

William, is this a scam or is it legit?

                        3) Ziering etc are on their medical advisory board
                        4) They have been conducting studies for years
                        5) It will be released in Columbia.

                        and yet

Go look at the other thread and read through the 20 pages or so.

Dr. Yates thank you very much for your information. For a lot of us the worst thing is the wait for anything that might help with MPB.
Most of us are eagerly awaiting further information when you will have access to it and when you are willing to share it with us.

                            @yeahyeahyeah
Please refrain from insulting the doctors on this forum who are still willing to give us some information. I myself sometimes forget they are reading this forum too. However there is no need to act this way. They are not to blame for our current condition.

Why the hell would it be released in Columbia but not Canada when the trials are taking place here (Canada)????
