dude just take the weight gain man, surely you can find a way to get around that via diet or something. i'd rather have to diet harder and keep my hair. just consume less calories, eat perfectly...

So, dutasteride blocks even more free testostorone from getting converted on dht, and as a result, you have even more free testosterone in your body with dutasteride than finasteride, and then, in the end, is more the free testosterone wich gets converted into more estrogen.

How is dut supposed to help you reduce estrogen-related sides?

Still, I wish you the best.

well, i don't think dut helps to reduce those sides, they're just less likely to occur on dut. we have no clue why but there's a pretty big study on it and there was something like a 2.5% chance that fin would give someone gyno and a 1.25% chance that dut would give you gyno, even though dut as you say blocks more dht. no one has a clue why it's less likely to cause gyno, we can't explain it but it's in the study.

i know it doesn't make any sense but apparently it is the case according to at least one study on it. i'm going to do some more research, it's completely contradictory to common sense. dut is like fin on crack so all sides should be intensified...

Man you know the weight gain from estrogen has nothing to do with what you eat???

I wonder if applying indomethacin along dermarolling would be a bad idea. I mean, the whole idea about dermarolling the scalp is to cause damage, but as indomethacin is an anti-inflamatory maybe it could lessen the dermaroller results.

              Maybe, I don't really know...

Hairline has noticeably regressed since June 29th. Will be starting Dut and dermarolling the week of Aug 19th. Will probably discontinue I/C at that point due to poor results. Sorry guys, it's not working for me and it irritates the shit out of my scalp. I believe I'm thinning on the exact areas I'm applying this shit. Can't afford to lose more hair. It's terrifying to literally feel your hairline goimg higher each week.

ok guys, i'm calling this a wrap. my conclusions:

beyond reducing my itch a little, this has done absolutely nothing for my hair loss. i am still shedding regularly and there is no sign of regrowth beyond what minox was already doing for me. i have absolutely lost more hair in the crown and hairline since starting this. it's shitty news but there it is. i am moving on to dutasteride, minox twice a day, and dermarolling, but i am keeping the regenepure. blocking pgd2 was supposed to stop hairloss, therefore i will use dutasteride in its place and remove this treatment.

i understand that i'll catch a lot of shit for stopping too soon, but there's a big difference in stopping fin too soon and stopping i/c combo too soon, namely that fin and dut are PROVEN to bounce you back after a shed, whereas we have zero clinical evidence of this shit working.

i feel like i've done my time and given this a fair shot considering that almost everyone who reported positive things said this stopped loss very quickly, i.e. no more than 1 month.

perhaps i will return to it later on if others report dramatic results but at least with dut i can be confident that i'm using a reliable medicine that is absolutely inhibiting dht.

if anyone wants to take over this thread and continue feel free. i'll update if i decided to get back on it or if i read about some other good news.
