1)With donor doubling alone, we can only achieve cosmetic illusion of nw2 max,as you correctly mentioned.

2)Your standards are high,so are mine....only if he responds to HM injections simultaneously..we will be able to achieve a results what you and i wish for..!

      Anyway..WORK IN PROGRESS...

Real breakthrough can happen only with true HM ..doubling is an interim till we improve success with pure HM.
Latest update on 2d dp culture is they are confirmed as trichogenic as they were positive for versican and alkpo4 markers.
3D aggregate cultures are being finalized with spheroids...should be giving to patients in july...and later will test for it's trichogenicity.
      Huh? Why NW2 max?

Isn't donor regeneration supposed to provide unlimited hairs?

        Travis,
This is because, as i started doubling 8/9 months back,
initially with few grafts and gradually increasing to more grafts,

With good donor ,even if he is nw7...we can extract all the donor and atleast give him cosmetic nw2 coverage...
As there are approx. 100000 hair on a nw1 scalp..even in the first harvest of extracting and implanting all the available donor..we can max get 10000 grafts or 25000 approx. hair,

Though theoritically we can repeat this process after few months when donor regenerates..but i can confirm the same after few months as the results of the patients are followed up..
hence as on today ,i can confirm atleast 10000 grafts possibility on recipient, with a donor who has that number of grafts from side of the scalp to the back.

If a person has 35cms in length(side of scalp to the back of the scalp) and avg 7 cms in width(sides and back of the scalp) available safe donor area...
and, if he has a density of 50 grafts per sqcms...
we can extract 10000 grafts max. at first harvest in two sessions.
You will have to wait few more months..before we document reharvesting of the donor.
As of know i have done reharvesting the donor second time with smaller number of grafts.

By the way .... I come to visit your country ... I came to Paris next week :-)

              Hi veca!

How are you ? If you come in south france, you can visit me for sure my friend. Just please, you have to know that french guy are not representative of france

I seen this guy, result is impressive, I cant wait to see the result on myself in 2 months.

I didnt see this guy unfortunatelly but quite similar result. I strongly believe in the 3D dp culture dr nigam offer, even mine was pass thought 2D to 3D from my understanding.. He will start inject me that when I come back at the end of the months or august beggining.

                Hi Tom

                I hope you are well.

Do you mind if I ask a few questions about your procedure, and your expectations...

What norwood level are you?* I noticed that the treatment was done on your hairline and temples.* Do you expect this to fill in your hairline and temples and will the density be good?

Also what are your expectations for the future.* Will you need to keep visiting Dr Nigam or will he be able to provide treatment to stop further hair loss as well. Will you be able to maintain your hair or keep doubling grafts

I would consider a treatment with him as I want to fill in my hairline and temples.* However I do not know enough at the moment and have not seen enough results

                Thank you

Missed Tom's last post, to answer my own question: he's returning end of this month/begin august. Although it's probably too early to draw any conclusions at all, I'm really looking forward to see the highres photo's

do you still plan to go for a second HST?

Nope. Things just don't add up there. I strongly believe regrowth is way lower than 80% and hence it's better to be cautious and use donor wisely. I'm going to wait for gc83uk's documentation first, hopefully that will finally yield the data and numbers we all have been wanting to see for years.

And in the mean time it's going to be extremely interesting to see how Tom's case develops. I'm still very skeptical regarding dr Nigams, but who know, it just might work

I've just booked mine today for December 2013.

btw - Very hot weather these days and can't wait to shave down my head again - because this year it's suddenly very warm also in my front area ...
