And one more thing. I get ****ing tired of guys coming on this forum and acting like we're a bunch of pussies for expressing the realistic view. If you're an alpha male you don't give a **** about your hairloss to begin with and you're nowhere near a baldness forum. If you're on this forum you're self-conscious about the way you look and that's weak and vain. Period. Stop putting people down with the beta comments. You're beta by default.

Even the alpha males would rather have hair than not if given the choice. Beta or not, every guy is self conscious to some degree. Why should this even be frowned upon?Comment

C'mon Clan, doesn't it piss you off to think how long we'd have to wait for this to hit the market? I'm not saying this is terrible news; I'll take a cure at 40 over no cure, no doubt. But man I guess I just discovered BTT at the wrong time because 3 years ago we were at the MOST 5 years away from next gen treatments that would blow minox and fin out of the water. I think that's what many of us are upset about. And no one can deny that it's a huge blow to think you'll be fine by 2015 and then see it's going to be at least 5 more years of hell, each year the road to recovery getting more and more difficult.
Anyways, I've had my negative nancying for the week, time to focus on other shit and look forward to the World Congress.Comment

I know, you're totally right. No wonder Spencer says to take what people say on these forums with a grain of salt, because of all the extreme negativity that goes on here.Comment

But thats just letting everything slide, I mean, today we learn we've had the ability to work on a legitimate cure THIRTY YEARS AGO? And we're STILL being stringed along?
We've got every reason to be negative about it. Thirty years? That is disgusting.
However, rather than complain, I'd force the powers that be to release a treatment that a) works b) doesnt cause your dick to go permanently limp
Thirty years??? Seriously, to brush it off and continue to go on with future developments with a smile is pretty fvcking naive.Comment

Nope.
But good news, something to be optimistic about, we will all be sexy 40 year old's with NW0 hairlines. All the ladies will be flocking over us. Some of us could even get together and make a oldman-boy band. We could make this work guys, 2025, we'll be set.Comment

most likely not I'm afraid, not from one of these companies. but let's just wait a couple weeks and we'll know a lot more. no sense in speculating at this point. just don't get your hopes up if you're like me and bad news deflates you.Comment

Someone at Edinburgh needs to seriously address this issue, stand up and ask:
'What good are all these findings if NONE of you have made any of this as a viable treatment for the past 30 years?'Comment

how bad is your hairloss man? age? seems like you are the most affected by baldness out of all of us.Comment

Believe me dude, this sh*t pisses me off more than anything. There are so many aspects of the hair loss industry that I really just cannot stand. Like why all of these scientists test on mice until the cows come home yet never do anything to regrow hair on humans. Or why all of the hair transplant doctors perform only hair transplants (and make ridiculous amounts of money) and don't do a damn thing to innovate and create better options. Or why a form of hair cloning has already been achieved yet no one acknowledges it or does anything to try to duplicate her procedure and results. Personally, I have no choice other than to be optimistic about new treatments like Histogen, Aderans, or Replicel because I just don't even want to fathom liviing the rest of my life with hair loss. And hell, I'd even bet that there are other treatments that could really help to regrow hair (an I mean simple autologous treatments) yet they are not being explored because people are making too much money off of today's current limited treatments.Comment
