Re below.....I just got very lucky I reckon. I had a specific weekend in March (Paddys weekend) in mind due to having no work on Monday. I got BHR confirmed for the Saturday at midday, then I said who could I squeeze in over that weekend as a result.

I got De Reys on Sat evening, and Mwamba on Mon evening. I called Feridunis clinic and got through to one of the girls who told me that Monday wasn't suitable. It turns out Dr F was directly beside her when I called and interrupted her, they consulted, then she got back to me and told me that they could squeeze me in. 6 weeks wait. Jackpot!

How long did you have to wait for a HT with Feriduni? Did you have a face to face consultation?

Has taken my motivation of getting a hair transplant away. I need a HT asap ie. in next 4 months ideally.

Anyone available that doesn't have such long waiting times?

It's a concern I have but I have no choice. I have weighed everything up and I'm not totally without a strategy, i.e. use of minoxidil and Regenepure. I'm hoping we see some better treatments over the next few years too.
Sausage....re you wanting a HT sooner rather than later, I think a cancellation might be your best bet with some of the more popular clinics. However, the more I read about the Turkey docs (Hakan Doganay and Koray Erdogan in particular) the more I am liking. I think they typically have a 3-4 month waiting list.

Hi doinmyheadin, I planned full professional photo sets at 3 months and 6 months, but the progress has been so fast I thought I'd include this self-pic early at month 4.

I have brought forward my 6 month photo set to 5 months, so they'll be up at the usual place within a few weeks. I don't have my own SLR

What is the advantage of mineral based sunscreen?

Edit- Also does mineral based sunscreen make people break out more? I hate the greasy/oily feel of sunscreen but the good thing about what I use now is tha tit does not promote breakouts
Mineral sunscreens are more stable and tend to be less irritating. I prefer zinc (broader spectrum protection) and I'm use Blue Lizard at the moment. I'm going to try a Shiseido sunscreen next.

Tretinoin will make your skin extremely photosensitive, so be sure to wear a high SPF sunscreen daily, regardless of the weather. It should be at least SPF30, offer UVA and UVB protection and preferably mineral based (zinc or magnesium oxide).

Yeah, it is pretty nice. I've noticed how I can run, and go out in the wind/rain and not care. My confidence is growing.

Hair looks great. The hairline corners already look super solid. That widow's peak growth will tie things together very nicely.

Nah they look the same now.

Not sure what happened to the first post, it got really huge so I posted a smaller one.

EDIT: Thanks for fixing it admin!
