I guess so. The risk of shock loss is prob not worth it.

I seriously doubt I will stop at a NW3 tho, and the worry is that I will have a great hairline but gaps behind it start becoming prevelant as the recession continues. My grandfather was a decent NW3.5 or so, but that means nothing.

I will have a VERY in depth chat with Dr Feriduni on the day of my pre op consultation and see what he says.

Are you fairly confident yourself that you wont go past an NW4?

I asked a similar question on MattJ's thread in terms of placing grafts in between existing hair. Would it be possible to place grafts in the area in question, even if it is not particularly thin at the moment ie for future loss?

Ah ok - I have a decent amount of hair in that area at the moment but its in the firing line if i recede a bit more. I not quite as bad as you in terms of the hairline but since Im not on fin, I doubt I can hold onto it.

Just wondering if it is possible for Dr Feriduni to close the gap in the pic I have attached? I would kinda need this done as I will no doubt continue to recede and need some hair in there to manage it.

Yeah, that's the part I was told would just need another 600 grafts if I lost further ground.

Hi chrisis,firstly what a breath of fresh air mate...real good of you to have the b*lls to put your story on here for those of us who suffer in silence! Secondly I'm thinning in one temple only so would really appreciate your honest opinion of what's next for me,I joined the belgravia centre over a year ago and they put me on fin,and although my hair in general is ok my right temple has thinned out and I'm starting to lose faith..so if you wouldn't mind looking and giving your opinion it would be appreciated

It’s now two weeks since I had surgery with Dr Feriduni in Belgium. I’ve taken some photos to show my progress. As you can see, the recipient area is healing nicely. Most of the scabs have fallen off during the last few days, and the skin has a healthy pink tone.

As anticipated some of the Follicular Units (FU’s) have fallen out, so the density of the recipient area does not quite match that of the native hair – and that will remain the case until new hairs begin to grow through. This is to be expected, as at this stage, hairs in the donor area begin to shed, paving the way for newer, stronger hairs to grow in their place.

haha OMGod...that is just damn amazing and that's only 2 weeks?

I seriously can't wait to see how this is going to look in 3 mths, 6 mths, 1 year...
