it would make sense that hst to fue ratio of donor loss is somewhere between 1:3 and 1:5. It is still much better and the best option out there.
Dean Saunders 3rd Treatment was his FINAL treatment?!?!?!

So what?
There is a new TV show with Dean Saunders available ...
... and Saunders is talking about his new hair and finally also about his untreated tonsure/crown area (the other guy is asking him) - but I don't understand what he is saying/replied...Comment

That other dude says "I think you need something in your crown area too". Dean dodges the remark and replies: "Well everything you see on top is new. I only had hairs on my sides".
That's all.
Anyway, to bring back a NW-max like Dean you'll need more than 10k grafts. The 5k grafts he's gotten is just a start. I think he should go back 1-2x more to have his crown filled too. Even if that has consequences for his donor. I'd rather have a visibly slightly poorer donor than a slick bald crown.Comment

slick bald crown sucks, he could use some BHT to fill it
like arash said, at least 1 procedure for crown and that's just for dusting effect, really he needs 2
1 procedure for bringing down that awkwardly placed hairline
and perhaps 1 procedure to thicken midscalp
5000+ more is needed. Can he get that many without destroying donor to muchComment

lets do the math
he lost 50 000 hairs, he got 5000 grafts back=less than 10 000 hairs...
he needs at least 25 000 hairs (50% of original density )to look ok..
that's the problem with hair transplants, thre simply isn't enough hairs to transplant.
lets face it 20% of original density can never look good unless you are happy with combover, in daylight looks patheticComment

I'm pretty sure this will be an old video. Gho has been talking (and researching) on this subject for quite some time. AFAIK he still hasn't booked any good results regarding this subject though. Read more: http://www.hasci.com/en/science/hair-multiplication/Comment

3) Regrowth is not 100% as everybody knows. After multiple treatments (in his case more than 3x 1700 grafts) the same visible disadvantages start to happen as with a FUE. If clients want to shave their hair totally bold, HASCI advises not to do more than 3 treatments.
That is just me speculating, but it does seem more consistent with this statement.
Of course I believe it is still miiiiles better than FUE - especially as the donor area scarring is so minimal compared to FUE - but l think it is still a limited procedure at this point.
BTW, when I mentioned this 10 for 1 possibility to Dr Gho I got the impression from him that it was a looong way away - mind you that was 18 months ago.Comment
