I know that there has been much talk about Dr Nigam but until we have more factual proof of his claims , making comparisons would be moot at best. (to Dr Nigam-No harm meant)

@UK Boy Hi bro,, thanks for your response as well. Just wanted to say that there were no 'smoke and mirrors' during my Skype PowerPoint discussion with Dr Wesley..The man is truly sincere. He had also displayed the current instrumentation he developed too. They are very advanced tools UK. I have no major concerns or worries thinking about when it is my turn to be involved as a patient of his for the phase test this year.
@StayThick Your response-"This is exciting stuff. Improving the HT industry to me is our only shot at beating this curse." I agree ,for the time being , until VIABLE regeneration treatments are available to us, an advanced HT is probably the best way to go. Ill be keeping you guys informed here of my experiences of course.
@Le Bald Hi man! Your questions correlate with what StayThick had said and my response to him..a great HT technique that can also improve our donor areas by way of regrowth is amazing to consider. Dr Wesley's 'before and after' photographs regarding the donor areas of previous patients are very very impressive but keep in mind they are anecdotal at this point,,thats why the phase testing is still ongoing,,Im very excited to be a future patient because then I can see first hand what it can or cant do. The method that he uses in re to the donor area regrowth I cant really talk about but I am impressed and i feel confident about this..The main focus though is of the way in which he IS transforming FUE surgery! As an example , do a Google search on my good friend 'Bobman'
'Bobman' has had FUT strip surgery a while back He went with Hasson and Wong ..Bobman was at a NW 6 ,,
Ive talked with Bob in person (he is my friend)I KNOW what a great FUT HT can do ..You would have never known that he was bald or had a HT because it looks so good and so natural.
He doesn't have a huge problem with the scarring mostly due to the great talents of Hasson and Wong, but he does have a donor scar.
With Dr Wesley's advancements , having an FUE can be as good if not better than an FUT without the major scar and without the 'white dots' scar of current FUE surgery. Then there is the possibility of donor regrowth - game-changer.
      Hi Javert Cheers
      Hey man. Thanks.

after reading the second last paragraph of the patent it seems to describe how donor regeneration can not be achieved.

Utilizing the visualization technology provided by, for example, ultrasonography that enables the operator to simultaneously see both the underlying extraction module and the entire hair follicle that rests within the skin surface, the operator is better able manipulate the angle and direction of the device in order to align it properly with the overlying hair follicle that it will engage. Further, for hair follicle harvesting for subsequent transplantation, the system can described herein can include a larger amount of vital tissue structure around the hair follicle during extraction, which will enhance follicle viability and survival. During procedures where permanent hair follicle extraction is desired, such as from axillary and pelvic regions, the system may allow the removal of all of the hair follicle structure required for self -renewal to prevent unwanted hair regrowth.

does this then imply that by not removing the entire hair follicle structure that generation can be achieved. With the visualisation technology and the extraction taking place below the follicle it is possible that the precise tissue structure that needs to be extracted can be achieved cause regeneration similar to what dr gho claims.

@ANW Good researching but I have to ask you..is this sentence in-particular what you meant to say or did you mistype?

"...it seems to describe how donor regeneration can not be achieved."

            Artista,

Am I correct in thinking that this new technology could be utilized for both transplantation AND the elimination of unwanted hairs, i.e., surpassing laser hair removal?

            Sounds cool!

@Arista - If you have already addressed some of these questions let me know... We know quite a bit about his device from reading the patent but..

#1 - Can you share anything about the concerns some members had about damaging nerves and whatnot under the top layer of skin? Can you talk about any scar size left by the device?

#2 - Did he talk specifically about how fast you can use the device? How many grafts per hour in the right hands?

..comparing this to FUT is still quite different because in FUT you are REMOVING hair and leaving a thin scar (ideally). Thinning out hair over the same amount of strip may very well be more noticeable.

                sorry poor grammar

what I meant to say was the patent describes a method in which regeneration can be avoided, which could imply the existence of a method in which regeneration is not avoided.

perhaps I am over analysing the text

Even if it's technically possible with Dr. Wesley's technique it remains financially impossible (for all practical purposes).

Other than next-gen ARTAS robots, I can't think of anything else that would make FUE much cheaper.

Then again maybe Dr. Wesley has more hats with more rabbits and will be able to make his procedure cheaper than standard FUE... Time will tell.

Its true that price is crazy high but rmbr there are excellent doctors in India like dr bhatti who charges 2-3 bucks per graft and dr Wesley will share his technique
