Hey, sorry I missed your message, only just saw it now! You probably have the answer already, but in case you don't... KB is a vehicle specifically designed for RU. It's named after the two guys who patented it, Kreamer and Bohn, hence KB. The reason it is special is because it contains a special set of ingredients. Some help it get absorbed and help the solution evaporate when you apply it, one creates a protective film over the scalp which stops it rubbing off and stops other people touching it and absorbing it, and the most important ingredient stabilises the RU to stop it degrading. If you don't use KB solution you have to make up RU on a daily or weekly basis.
