Hey Desmond, I read what you wrote on the 0.5 finasteride dosage board. I wrote a post about 2 weeks ago called 'finasteride experience' about my time on finasteride taking 1/4 mg a week. My mother is a pharmacist and she directed me to the info that you put up as well. My question is regarding side effects and patients. I have noticed some side affects that are pretty typical to the drug. Less morning wood, less libido, a bit of ab and stomach pain. I am worried about the potential to develop 'gyno' or male breasts. My mothers advice was to stay on for 6 months and see if the side affects stop.I can tell the DHT picks up by the 5th day and I begin to see a change in my scalp and hair loss by day 6-7.
The drug has more less given me a thick head of hair back, so it seems like an awfully tough thing to give up right away.
My question is, do you think taking the drug at my dose - 1/4 a week, and having side effects tale off as week goes along, is ok?
