The reason people thought that was because Floyd himself through his doctors, from jail said that the food in jail is jeopardizing his normal daily diet and he claimed to be malnurtured in there. He claimed jail was hurting his boxing career. His doctors claimed they were concerned with his dehydrated look and loss of muscle tone when they saw him.
