    Based on what I saw, probably just short on the sides and texturing the top like I suggested in the thread. Look up some videos about how to add texture and layers using Gel. That is the most important thing. Basically it's all twirling.
    That said, it depends on your face. Some features and faces are better balanced with short hair, and others with long. Maybe try both of them out? Short first, then grow it out and see what you think.
    I find that taking a photo is a good way to judge of how you look with it shorter (webcam will do), as the slow change in hair length can warp your opinion a little.
    Just really avoid going short sides and too long on the top. The idea is NOT to go for a mop top. Too many immigrants here seem to cut the sides really short, and the leave the top WAY too long and they look like egg heads. But based on my observations, short sides and longer on the top can achieve an amazing look right up to NW3. Hair density and thickness plays a big part in this too.
