Hi there -- I haven't been on the forum in quite awhile, but wanted to resurrect this old private message. I was looking only into this Neograft/FUE procedure because I want to keep the hair in the back at a #1 razor length, so the strip procedure is out. My biggest question to you is how long it takes for your donor area to grow back? I also don't understand how it ever does - I'd seem to think that once a "graft" is removed, it doesn't magically generate another one...but I could be wrong (?)

Your hair density looks far beyond mine - I suffer from the worst of everything - poor hair density, thin hair, pretty much everything in the top/back is down to the skin and the hairline lost a good 2-3 inches. I just buzz my scalp with a #00000 (nearly a shaving cream/razor length) and I've had enough of it. I'm only 33 and really want to be realistic -- all I want back is for the top to be the same density as the sides.

    Thanks!
