Hi Matt. If you could reply to this message it would mean the world to me. I just went to another derm. This time he took his time and carefully examined my scalp. Just using his eyes he said he could see no hair thinning or loss. However he did use some sort of camera that was really magnified. He said he found some vellus hairs. However, I asked him if that could be cause by the sometimes incredibly intense constant stress i go through and he said yes they could. So at first he indicated that the vellus hairs were a sure sign of MPB but then when i told him about the stress he said that it could cause the vellus hairs. So basically at the end he said that he could not say for sure if I had MPB or just heavy stress. Do you agree? Taking into account my lack of family history of baldness and heavy stress that the stress could be causing the small amount of vellus hairs on my crown?
