Hi Jason-
Appreciate your posts. Very helpful. I am 34 and losing my hair, mostly in the crown. Still have a head of hair, although it's noticeably thinned on top and in the crown. Used finasteride for 8-9 years and Rogaine 5% for two years now. I think they have kept me from the fate of most males in my family....bald.
Have a consultation with Dr. Bauman in FL next month but have heard his prices are high. Being from the midwest, and familiar with Minneapolis/St. Paul, I wanted to ask you a few questions about SMG.
1) How do his prices compare with Dr. Bauman's? FUE and Strip?
2) If I were to go with SMG, how many days are needed?
3) What is the best technique, FUE or Strip, to handle a thinning crown?
4) What about scarring from the strip method?
5) Are the donor or recipient areas shaved? I normally have my sides and back done with a #3 razor and the top/front left a bit longer.
Thanks, man. Much appreciated.
