    I'm so happy to hear from you. I was afraid you might not see the visitor message. And thank you for your congratulatory note and also your understanding. Many don't understand how this impacts our lives on a daily basis.
    I was not a candidate for hairline advancement for a couple of reasons. The first being that my hair is quite fine and thin so the scar would likely have been visible. Secondly, because of my fronto-temporal recessions, it was not realistic to advance those areas enough since they were so sparse with hair.
    My first surgery did go well. It could have been a stand-alone procedure, but I wanted a more irregular hairline and more density in the previously transplanted areas. I am optimistic that this will be my last!
    I hope I have answered your questions and I'd love to hear how things are going for you in your journey. Do you have any idea of your timeline for having a surgery?
