I used to shave my head with a straight razor before my HT, so I know what I look like. I look much better with hair, but life has made other plans for me and I am at the point where I completely accept it. I would rather have people see my bald head then continue to constantly worry about what my hair looks like ect.
For the strip scar on the back of my head, I was told steroid injections will actually make the 'rasied' part shrink back to normal. Being in the pharmacuetical industry I know how this wroks and agree with the idea. There are pics on the internet of other people who have done this, but you REALLY gotta be searching. I haven't talked to anyone regarding the pinkish coloring it has, which I also want to get rid of. I know when I shave, even after the scar is flattened and the same color as my scalp, the scar will be visable. I am completely fine with that. I am also comepltely fine with telling people I made a stupid mistake when I was young when they ask about it.
