Thank you Spencer! What is your opinion on "Ultra Refined" FUT? If a Dr. is making the recipient incisions using a .8mm or 1mm instrument, he is in fact practicing an "Ultra Refined" procedure? Is there more to this story?
Also interesting to note that Dr. McGrath recommends a transplant density of 40-45 FUT, per cm2. Whereas, Dr. McAndrews strongly recommends no more than 20 FUT per cm2 due to maximizing survival rates. I'm inclined to believe that with proper instrumentation and technique, the 40-45 FUT's will produce a denser, better looking result.
