Sure thing. For starters I set your account to have all future threads you create or write on to be instantly subscribed to, so you won't have to worry about any of the new stuff. For the past threads:
When viewing a particular thread you will see a little toolbar at the top of the thread and the first button will say "Thread Tools" Select "Subscribe to this thread" from the drop down menu. That's all there is to it.
