Hi Pookster - I'm sorry to say that NO, I have NOT stopped smoking yet!! I decided to go another route first ('cause I really love my weed) and sought out an orthomolecular doctor (who tries to find the cause of your imbalances, doesn't just throw you on some random drugs) and turns out I'm all sorts of screwed up nutritionally. I have very low potassium and protein (which causes hairloss) and my vitamin D is almost non-existent (which is one of the vitamins recommended to help with hair loss), not to mention a myriad of hormonal imbalances - all of which are being slowly straightened out as I type. It all comes down to my eating, apparently (not a shock). But it may not be the cureall - I should probably still quit for a couple of months. And will, but this doc didn't want me to further shock my bod by going cold turkey because of all the other changes we're implementing right now. So I'm slowly cutting back and will probably quit completely in another month or so. DEFINITELY LET ME KNOW IF YOU NOTICE A CHANGE!! But I'm hoping all this nutritional stuff will make a difference, too. And not just in my hair!! Does yours fall out constantly? Mine comes and goes, and its usually in the shower I notice the massive fallouts. And my hair is REALLY LONG - which makes it so much worse. Ugh. Hate it. Let me know what happens! I hope it helps!
