You're a norwood three, not quite a 3a but not a solid three as you have considerable diffusion , some doctors will try and get you to seek 3,000 grafts to reconstruct your hairline with a believable density, in reality i think you could do it with 1800 to 2000 max. Save money and grafts and get a near identical cosmetic difference from a skilled surgeon. Dr's Keene, Mcgrath, Limmer and Epstein would probably agree with my assessment of you while others like Rahal, Arocha and Feller would probably push for 3000 +, they are good doctors but sometimes less is more with hair restoration as after a certain yield the cosmetic difference is nearly indistinguishable. You are creating the illusion of fullness and not actually creating a full head of hair, a skilled doctor can create that illusion with a 35cm2 to 40cm2 density, those who insist on going over 50cm2 usually are not giving you bang for the buck with the graft placement.
