    10 1/2 Months Post-Op

    10 1/2 Months Post-Op 7/30/10 A Bit of A Strange Phenomenon...

    Hey There, Everyone...!

Okay... So I had another extremely busy month, and I wasn't able to get to this entry until now--at 10 1/2 Months (instead of the 10-month mark...!)

The Good News is that you get to see two-weeks more-density than at 10 Months!

The Bad News (not really awful, but Curious and at times, frustrating...) is, that I'm experiencing a bit of an odd phenomenon that I've just noticed near the end of last month and most of this month...

I think you'll see it quite clearly in the pictures... I've included several more than usual this month so you can get a clearer idea of what's happening...

Basically, the hair is still definitely coming in, and the density in SOME areas is coming in quite nicely... This seems to allow me to comb my hair certain ways, (essentially, "forward, and to the right"--see the first few pics...) and get the illusion of fairly decent coverage overall... When I'm wearing my hair this way, (and have it sprayed down, etc, and am not concerned about it moving out of place) I feel quite happy with my progress...

However, the "patchy" places--(especially at the upper left-temple area, and left side of the hairline--see remaining photos) continue to be light, thin and wispy, and keep me from wearing my hair combed back, as I often would prefer...

A minor fault, perhaps, when one considers that 10 1/2 months ago, I had very little TO comb back at all, but it continues to be a strange dilemma, and so, depending on how the hair is hanging on any particular day (at least in the past month or so...) determines whether or not I am excited and enthusiastic with my progress, or frustrated that it isn't more uniform and cooperative...!

I still have a month and a half until the 1-year-mark, and another 6 months beyond that for what I suppose would be considered "full maturation," so I am still very hopeful and optimistic that in time I'll have more options as density and "perceived coverage" improves...!

I know I have much more than a lot of gents out there, and I'm certainly grateful for what IS coming in... Also, if NOTHING else, I know at the VERY LEAST I can depend on a fairly full look with at least ONE style, and that in itself is worth SO MUCH...!

    See you next month...!
