    9 months post-op

    Hello again Friends,

Well, here I am at the 9-month mark...Three-quarters of the way through the journey.

Density and fullness has continued to increase in the recipient area at a slow but steady rate, as in past months. I am growing the top/front out fairly long now as an experiment to see what it will look like long. I am hoping to get a maximum amount of coverage over the forehead and temples this way, since my lower graft yield did not allow for much rebuilding at the temple areas (so they are much further back). Also, my next role is Shakespearean, and I'd like to wear my hair quite long for it, if it will look decent that way. I will let you know.

Still hoping that the next (last) three months will yield a significant improvement in density, as there are several areas on the top and at the hairline that still look fairly thin when the wind (or my hand) brushes it to one side or the other. Hoping continued use of Proscar/Finasteride will help this, as well.

All this being said, however, I feel extremely lucky to now have a SIGNIFICANT amount of hair/coverage on the front and top of my head, where there once was only skin. It continues to inspire my hope, and especially my thanks to Dr. Victor Hasson...
