    8 1/2 Months Post-Op -- Better Late Than Never!!

    Hey Gents (and Ladies, too!)!

So sorry for being a couple of weeks late this month--I'm in rehearsals for a play, and I've literally had NO TIME AT ALL...! I didn't want to leave you all hanging, though--and just as things are getting GOOD, so here is my 8 1/2 Month Progress Update...!

First of all, as you can see, things are growing in quite nicely!

Overall coverage is quite good, and seemingly getting better every day! I have enough hair now to style down/forward with quite full and natural looking results, and fairly full coverage of the top of my head and most of my temple-areas as well! Density is getting better as well--certainly up from last month, but, since we are all told we wont achieve full density until at least the 1-year mark, I am hoping for even more! Overall I am quite excited, and getting more so each day as it continues to come in...!

On the (VERY SLIGHT) down side, the density is not anywhere near grown-in enough to be able to wear the hair back or higher up off of the face (which was my typical style before the transplant) and I am hoping the density comes in enough in the next few months that I might be able to start wearing it that way... Also, there continues to be a very light (density-wise) spot at the very top of the right temple (which you cannot see from these photos, as I am wearing the hair down in them), which frustrates me to no end, as the rest of it is growing in so beautifully... I am hopeful it will at least START to yield some more growth in the coming months to match the rest of the excellent results starting to come in...! I have started to add Rogaine again to my daily regime along with the Proscar, so I know I am doing ALL I CAN DO for the renewal and health of my hair...!

Virtually all tenderness has subsided, with the exception of VERY mild tenderness if one presses or rubs the donor areas, otherwise, quite pain-free!

I cannot WAIT for the next few months, and just PRAY that the density continues to come in. Each month has been exciting to watch as it comes in, and it just keeps getting better...!

    See you next month!
Working...
