Okay, so I've reached the 3-month mark. I wish I could say it feels like a significant benchmark, but I only feel in a marginally better place than at the 2-month mark. Nothing much has changed. Swelling has continued to go down and pain has continued to lessen in left back donor area, but there is still a noticeable "ridge" to the touch where the scalp was joined there, and I still experience frequent pain and itching in that spot. Both concern me. Hair in recipient area seems to be growing in, but definitely at a snail's pace, and still just seems to be the wispy remnants of what was already there, getting longer. Again, I have been told not to expect much beyond this at month 3, but it is still not easy. C'mon you beautiful transplants, GROW!
