Any advice/thoughts?
It lets hair follicules to grow but when you stop to use the minoxidil, you turn back to your past situation

HI everyone,
It's been* almost 4 months (-2 days) - Update time!
The hair continues to grow and thicken. Yesterday I did my first hair cut, almost 1-2MM on the side and back. no trace of the hair transplant procedure: no redness, no scars, no shock loss (I have 2*scars there, but they are from*childhood). I'm very happy with the donor area state.
After the new hair cut, the native hair and the transplanted hair blend in better and more smoothly. The density is far from good, but for this stage (4 months) I'm happy, I have 7 more months of growth.
Now I'm limited to a certain hairstyle - comb downwards. I can't style it backward yet, due to lack of density - it's just doesn't look good yet. hopefully, in a few months, it will be possible.
When I look at my pics before the HT and now - I just can't believe it! a dream comes true. no other way to describe it.
What do you guys think?

This looks amazing. Thanks for sharing your experience. I think I’m heading for a similar pattern of hair loss to you, I’m not quite as severe as yours was prior to surgery but I’m ~10 years younger. This gives me hope of what I might be able to achieve if my hair loss stabilises.

just saw your pics, yeah, your hair loss is less severe than mine was. I hope eventually I'll get a good result and density. I see a lot of bad HT out there so do your research before. anyway, you are young and I think it's better to wait a few years till your hair loss stable

I actually buzzed mine down to a grade 3 on top and 1 on the sides, it looks better than I expected but will still take some getting used to. Fingers crossed I’ll stabilise and can look at my options in a few years.
Please keep posting updates, I’ve been following this thread since the beginning!

I think that from my 4 months pics you guys got the wrong impression. when the hair is down it's looks pretty good butwhen it is combed up it looks sick & very low density. here is a pic with a fluorescent light and a flash so you can see clearly the low density:

Doesn't look too bad in some pictures, in others sparse. Dunno man, 4300 grafts sounds a lot on paper but when you aggressively rebuild temple points and also end up lowering a hairline as well as filling in pretty bare temple areas, that 4300 gets eaten into pretty quickly. Think with temple points, focus should be on using artistry to give a good look rather than throwing too many grafts rebuilding with large numbers. Would probably give it a few more months, think 80% growth at month 7 in most cases is a tad optimistic, maybe see how you are at the 9-10 month stage.

time will tell...
some pics look good other less because I tried to take different pics from different angles and lighting - that's why the look different.
