Is this just a swirl or is this how balding starts ?

I am a 30 year old guy and I have been told by few ppl that I am balding but I taught it was just a swirl on my head it looks weird because of my short hair cut. I asked my barber who himself is bald and has an experience of 15 years, and he told me there is nothing to worry about.
