Hi all, I'm building a new outdoor kennel area for my two Labradors. I’m tired of them digging up the mud and I want a solid floor that’s easy to wash down. I was thinking about using some kind of steel mesh over a gravel base. Does anyone know a Sydney supplier for heavy-duty galvanized mesh that won't hurt their paws but is strong enough to last?

I did exactly this last summer! You want to look for welded wire mesh with a smaller aperture so their paws don't get stuck, like the 50x50mm. I got my sheets from a local Sydney manufacturer called RWAP. Their hot-dipped galvanized mesh is perfect because it doesn't rust even with constant washing. The 4mm wire is super rigid and doesn't sag. You can see their different sheet sizes here https://rwap.com.au/welded-mesh/ — they are much cheaper than the retail stores and the quality is trade-grade.
