What material is this?

can someone tell me what material is this and how are they able to get into such shape?

I know it is foam used in packing material etc etc see the 3rd pic they obviously cut it out just to get the rough shape in 4th pic of the Thermopore Sheet In Pakistan. But how did they apply the curves and how is it able to stick together etc etc in pic 5.

Please help me out guys.
