    What is hosting?

Hosting, in its most general sense, is a service through which storage and computing resources are made available to an individual or organization to host and maintain one or more Web sites and related services. Although hosting does not have to be IP-based, the vast majority of instances are web services that allow a web site or web service to be globally accessible from the Internet. What are your thoughts on the subject?

It's time for us to switch from regular hosting to VPS servers. What company should I go to, so that there is a large number of different rates and when the site starts to grow, it will be possible to switch to it.

if you are running a small business or something like that, you should probably go with less popular services
imo you always get better price with them, more stability and they tend to care about their customers, i used several like serverlynx vps and time4vps.com and even contabo(although they are not as good as they were before)

still better experience than with some bigger names

Thanks for starting such an interesting thread here. I noticed you shared the definition of hosting from Techopedia but if we discuss this term in simple words, hosting enables the websites and applications to show their online presence over the internet. Similarly, a hosting provider ensures continuous operations and grants storage and computing resources to a website.

Some big hosting providers are Hostinger, Bluehost and GoDaddy. However, if you want to explore the term 'hosting' in-depth, you should discover what is frontend and backend hosting. In this regard, you must read this Back4app article to understand how you can host your frontend and what server-side hosting is exactly. With this knowledge, you can probably overcome the cost of hosting and can pick cloud solutions instead of typical hosting services. Yes, I am referring to AWS, Azure and DigitalOcean to host your sites and apps.
