Jet flights over 5 hours. For some reason, I can tolerate 5 hrs no problem, but when it’s 9 or 10 or (God forbid) 17 hrs, I think I am about as close to going crazy (literally) as I ever have in my life. I have reached the point in my life where I would rather break up a 12 hr flight into two 6 hr flights with a stopover. The extra time wasted before a flight driving to the airport; parking; checking in at the counter; going through security; going to the gate (why is my gate always at the end of the terminal?); and waiting for the jet to show up. I used to fly short distances like Washington DC to NYC (about 250 miles). Nowadays, I’d rather take the train or even drive my car.
What do you like the least about traveling?

Of the minuses on the trip, little can be distinguished. Firstly, traveling takes time. In addition, if you have a family, you cannot fly wherever and whenever you want. And of course, money. Money is as necessary today as air. Without them you are not where, but to travel, you have to work. -

Been watching the HBO series 'Chernobyl', would love to visit Pripyat! Where can I get information on booking chernobyl tours?
I'm no expert, but I consider myself somewhat of a Chernobyl nerd, haha!Comment

I also don't like long flights and planes in general. I prefer traveling by train. I live in Paris and my friends and I go on a mini trip every weekend. We usually buy train tickets to db fahrplan on Thursday evening. We're going somewhere on Friday after work. Last weekend we visited Hamburg. It's a completely different world. This is an industrial city and there are a lot of business people here. That's why I love small trips. Every weekend we find ourselves in a new world and it's wonderful.Comment

I just recently visited China. God, how unusual it was, as if it were a completely different world. I've always loved their culture, ever since I was a little girl. I even tried to learn Chinese, but it didn't work out, ahah. We want to go somewhere warm in the spring after the winter rush)Comment

Yes, I think flying to China is quite exciting and somehow unusual. I wonder if they understand English. I was only interested in their culture and nothing else) Also, I flew to Greece this summer and plan to visit again. I want to set up a business there. I can tell you a good site I found on the Internet about what you need. Here it is - https://sailica.com/catalog/greece/sailing-yacht . It might come in handy.Comment

Anything over 5 hours can really test our patience and sanity. All that time wasted before a flight can be a real buzzkill, right? From driving to the airport, checking in, going through security, and waiting at the gate, it feels like forever! On the flip side, one thing I absolutely love about traveling is exploring new cities and even hidden villages. It's all about getting off the beaten path and experiencing the local life. I love chatting with the locals, finding out their favorite spots, and diving into the authentic culture of a place. It's way more fulfilling than sticking to typical touristy tours. By the way, speaking of trips, I've been planning one for this summer, and I recently came across a resort called Los Altos Resort. They offer some tours that allow you to immerse yourself in the beauty of the destination and experience it uniquely. It might be worth checking out if you're up for unforgettable adventures.Comment
