Feeling effin' great lately, with or without hair

Well, I just feel compelled to start a thread in "Hair Loss Rants". Every time I read a thread in here, it is so self-deprecating it almost makes me sick. I went home over T-giving break and saw family, old friends, townies (kids who never left our hometown and work dead end jobs) and, frankly, I just feel at peace with my hair and life.

Went to a salon and got my hair cut shorter than it's been since I was 14 or 15. I was just chill, told the [good-looking] hair stylist that my hair had been receding and I was looking to go shorter. She cut it, I tipped her well, and later that night one of her co-workers (who I went to high school with) texted me and said the stylist wanted to get to know me. EVEN WITH MY NW 2.5. Who knew that was possible?

So, now I'm sitting in my condo after an accomplished day at my internship. I'm about to go hit the gym down the hall. Then I'm going to work on my Master's Project that isn't even due until May.

F**K I feel good! I hope the rest of you will find that place in your soul where this feeling exists. It is there. You just have to find it.

Here's some pics of my hair to compare to when I joined this forum 2 months ago. I have a lot of new hairs growing in. I grew out my facial hair. This is what's up.

PS. Look, I even have a bit of acne!

I agree it is currently a mature hairline. It will be interesting to see if it continues, and at what rate.

Agree; you're NW2 at best. Stop fooling yourself into a worried state regarding hairloss, you're not actually balding.

Try rocking a vertex bald spot at 20 years old, then go about your life all happy-go-lucky.

        Cheers.

Can't say that with certainty. I realize I have it better than some. Even being 24 has put me in position to not be as devastated by loss. But, frankly, my density isn't even close to what it was 7-8 months ago. Further, my recession occurred very suddenly, which was genuinely alarming and bothersome.

I sometimes feel like that. Waking up with an acne flare-up and hairs on my pillow sorts that right out.
