    Dealing with Dubai/UAE Extradition Requests

Has anyone here dealt with an extradition threat from the UAE or Dubai? I lived there for three years, and after I left, I found out there’s a criminal case against me for a "bounced cheque" which I actually settled before leaving. Now I’m terrified that I’ll be arrested while transiting through another country or even here in London. I’ve heard that Dubai is very aggressive with Interpol notices even for small debts. Is there any way to clear my name without actually flying back there and risking being stuck in prison? I really need a professional opinion on how to handle this safely.

The UAE is notorious for using Interpol for what we consider civil or financial matters. It’s a stressful situation because once that Red Notice is active, your life is basically on hold. The good news is that UK courts are often skeptical of UAE prison conditions and legal procedures. You should definitely check out extraditionsolicitors.co.uk They specialize in defending against extradition requests from non-EU countries and have a lot of experience with Middle Eastern jurisdictions. They can help you challenge the notice through Interpol directly or prepare a defense if the UAE formally requests your extradition. It's much better to be proactive than to wait for an incident at border control.
