Is SMP more likely to turn blue than a typical tattoo?

I have read a few times about people worrying about SMP turning blue, one statement from a consultant I think stated that SMP WILL turn blue.......

Why will it turn blue? Is it more likely to turn blue than a typical tattoo you get in your local high street tattoo parlour?

I have a tattoo.......had it for 10 years.....it's still black.

Well take HIS hair clinic for example.. The Ink colours they use are a pure chromatic grey scale ( from very light:50 to very dark black shade 0) therefore HIS can guarantee that the ink will not turn blue. The cases that have claimed a blue look have actually turned to be micro bruising from the needle causing the blueish look which eventually disappears.

Currently I am only really considering it as an option to add a bit of density to my crown area......

I plan to have a FUE procedure to cover the frontal area, with hopefully a spinkling of hair in the crown.....I then would like to give the crown a boost with SMP.

If for whatever reason, in my face to face clinics I am told I am not suitable for FUE and no clinic will go ahead with it..........then I will start considering temporary SMP for the whole top of the scalp.......but I am not entirely keen on doing this......but I will research further.

Really? Get that in writing because I know someone that emailed three times specifically asking for a guarantee and they would not give one. They simply referred to the need for eventual touchups.

This is one quote taken form their website. It is from the same page I linked in the other thread in which we are discussing temporary SMP....they don't exactly guarantee it won't dis-colour.

Here is the quote:

Using no constituent colours whatsoever (being derived from pure black only), we are able to create an entire spectrum of shades to suit all hair colours from black, brown, ginger and blonde, without any fear of the pigments discolouring over an extended period of time."

I would like to know what this "extended period of time" is.

Also what confuses me is, they say they use "pure black" pigments and then go onto say they can create brown, ginger and blonde shades. How can you create those shades from pure black pigment?

I had my smp done three years ago and if anyone wants to meet up for drinks or a cup of coffee...I'm usually available.

I don't have any blue dots and not one person I've ever met thought this was a tattoo.

This things a blast and the best birthday present I ver gave myself.

Easy maintaince ....and care free life...

And at 55 years old I cruise with the roof off my vette all summer long. My total maintaince is I shave every day , every two days or every three days with a little electric foil razor.....takes about a minute....and then I put some 30 sunscreen on my head. I usually keep a sunscreen in the car console so in case I forget to do it at home...I can put it on while driving.

No body can tell and it smells good too.
