Looking for advice, first time considering a hair piece/system.

I have been shaving my head for decades. What is left of my natural hair is very thin on the sides. Worse, my hair on the back of my head is dark, while the front is grey (see pics).

What I want to do, for fun, is do one of those viking style haircuts (pics also attached), but with a shaved head.

Is this even possible? I spoke with a well respected company in Germany, who, after looking at my hair, and pics said the following:

If you want a partial piece, there needs to be hair to blend with. If you want to shave your head, you need to wear a total wig (so no shaved sides).

I am NOT interested in wearing a full wig, it is seriously HOT here in Israel, where I live.

I want something I can put on, for going out, for fun. Not trying to HIDE the fact that I am bald... everyone knows.

Thin skin on a 1-3 day strength bond and remove as needed. My supplier in the UK does it very thin.

So... what does that mean? I can fully shave my head, and wear a unit? Can it look like the pic, maybe even longer, in my (grey) color?

      Thanks,

      BB

you asked a question (read it!)

            I answered it (read it!)

for the shaved viking head your only hope is thin skin. but its questionable to start wearing a hair system with that cut.

Maybe wear a hair system first.

That clinic is right! Why dont you listen? You need hair to blend it otherwise it will look horrible and nasty

              1. Why so nasty and smug? I have 0 experience or information, and coming here for advice.

              2. I am not looking for a hairpiece to cover up my baldness, and go about my day with some businessman's cut. I am looking for something cool, and hip... for fun.

              3. I have no idea of what "thin skin" is. How about some information, links, etc? You mention you have a "supplier" in the UK, what does that mean? You order directly? Are you just a a wearer, or do you also provide service?

              Thanks,

              BB

Agree with Grincher. Very difficult look to achieve even for an experienced wearer. Probability of success for you.....someone with no experience or knowledge....somewhere between zero and zero. Better to go with tapered sides and back. Thinskin or lace. IMO, lace is a better option for someone who is new.
