Dr George Cotsarelis came back on it later on saying he was misquoted:

Some media outlets have inaccurately reported that a drug may be available in two years. To clarify, if everything goes well, a treatment could start being tested in clinical trials within 2 years. The time to market, were the clinical trial successful, is more difficult to predict, but could be several more years after that pending FDA approval.

In other words don't leave your sleep for it. Encouraging news for hairloss-research on a long term, but 2 years + clinical trials and commercialization will optimistically end up at least 8 years.

I find it funny out of the hundreds of news sources reporting this I never saw a single correction or retraction trying to fix what they said. Basically all the media, and there was a lot of it, lied to us.
I mean you know the media is broken when numerous articles said flat out MPB will be cured in 2 years and the fact was nothing is even currently being tested. Dont ever believe the media its a giant machine controlled by the rich and powerful to brainwash people

Yeah your totally right. I don't see why anyone would not want to come up with a possible real cure out there. Whom ever does find the right effective cure will have the potential to make millions of millions of dollars. Heres another maybe "hyped" article.

It always takes a few years to come out but if we can just maintain what we have then there is hope that there may be a cure by then.
