thought you might appreciate a comment from someone who also started receeding as a teen. (i'm 21 now).

It does look as though your hairline has receeded a little bit. I noticed my hairloss aged 18 and back then it looked exactly how yours does now. The bad news is mine did get gradually worse to the point i'm at now which is that my hairloss is noticeable if i brushed all my hair forward. the good news is that 3 years later i am still in a position where if i style my hair or dont have my fringe down then you can't tell and still looks like i have no recession.

I have my hair quite short (not shaved off) and I am happy with it. It's when it grows a bit longer that it becomes messy and harder to look good.

Anyway i'm just about to start on medication in a few months so my advice to you would be this;

Enjoy your teen years your hair loss isn't noticeable or bad right now and your hair looks good. For peace of mind just keep an eye on it and you have a good few years yet before it becomes noticeable (if it does progress). maybe after you hit 20 if it has progressed start treatment on it.
